Snow Pictures Feb. 2010

I have taken lots of pics of the snow with our camera. We never get 16-18 inches like this! I took pictures before this deeper snow but this is neat how deep and thick its on the branches etc! So here's some pics.

in our driveway

Whew! 16-18 inches of snow around here today! How very nice and pretty! Here's some pics! I said I'd enjoy 70 degrees and ocean and I would, but I'm enjoying all this snow! When it melts then it'll be uggg...

Our Male Golden Retriever in his kennel earlier today (Our dog lover neighbors won't like this picture!) Poor doggy, He's ok tho. It was funny watching our dogs in the deep snow! They jumped through it!
Our car!
I got down lower and took this picture by our door! Around 16-18 inches of snow!

News from our corner!

Well we're getting lots of snow here today! Its very pretty outside with thickness of it on branches and its still snowing. Our car is outside instead of in the garage because we have 8 healthy golden retriever pups inside with their mamma! We haven't lost any pups this time around and they are doing good! Sasha is a good mama to them. Anyway our car is getting and has snow piled onto it!
But my dad is in Florida at Hobe Sound right now with warm 70 degree weather and was by the ocean. This snow is pretty and enjoyable to see but in a few days, (whenever the snow starts melting away some) here I'll just head down there and enjoy some 70 degree weather and rolling ocean waves, and I like nice breezes blowing too! Better keep dreaming about goin to Florida soon cause it ain't happenin for us! Enjoy it Dad! That is nice for him!
Well in January we had a really nice trip with our youth group to the Creation Museum in Kentucky! The young people really enjoyed it and it was great for them to see and experience! It was fun! (A little rough sometimes for the 5hour trip (one way) with little CARLIN! We made it tho and thank the Lord for the Safe, good trip with some of our young people!
If you haven't gone, check it out sometime when ya can.
I'll post a couple pics on here sometime later.
Carlin news time:
Children are so tender aren't they tho? He was up on the kitchen counter, with me in the kitchen recently, (I put him there!) and I was mixing icing and he was scared of the electric hand mixer!
Its cute cause he knows what BATH is when I say "ya wanna get a bath?" or something, he points and heads toward the bathroom! He sure likes his baths!
He likes books too, so maybe we have a real reader!
Well I need to get off of here now so have a great night and keep in touch!

Pray for Haiti- MORE NEWS ADDED...

Thank the Lord for His protection on Hansels family and all the missionaries and nationals related to the Allegheny Mission in Thomonde, Haiti! God is so good!
The Haitians need prayer.
In Port 4,000 prisoners running free makes for not a safe place. And as far as we know, the Troyers from the Island of Lagonave are leaving Haiti because they cannot get any supplies from Port au prince. Port is just in devastation with so many dead bodies etc.
Will update more later after my hubby checks news about it today.

Some of the thoughts came to my mind one day that Jesus knew the earthquake was gonna happen before it did and was PRAYING for those poor Haitians before the horrific tragedy ever took place on them.
Thank Jesus for His interceding for us! The Bible says something like, The spirit groans for us with groanings that cannot be uttered!
Through this may Jesus win many souls to Himself.
PRAY FOR HAITI TODAY!
Here's some arial views of Haiti sent to us on email; of before and after the quake if you go to this place below:
http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/port-au-prince-haiti-before-after-images.htm

More News: A pastor from the Allegheny Mission was in Port when the earthquake took place and said right before the quake people were saying how a (voodoo) spirit was making Haiti great but he said when the quake came people called out "Jesus, Jesus, help us!"
Newer News: Hansels parents are heading over to Dominican Republic to get Copes, Huntings, and Stephanie, to the airport there to fly out of Haiti. Dominican Republic is going to be where Hansels parents get supplies for now since they can't in Port.
Found out today that one estimation is 200,000 dead in Haiti. (But Hansel thinks that is high.) They are digging bigger graves in haiti and just piling lots of dead bodies together in the earth. There are dead bodies lying around in Port and the smell would not be good... and Alot of families will never know what happened to their family members etc. that are gone.
Rescue people have rescued some from the Caribean Market where Hansels family used to do alot of grocery shopping. One man they rescued was surrounded by peanut butter and jelly and thats how he survived for the several days he was trapped under the market. Someone said he must have been in the snack aisle.
Also heard from Grandad Sanders, that some team members that were down there were killed at a mission guest house where Hansels family used to stay.
So much loss and devastation and horror in Haiti right now.
Pray for Haiti.
